    This gives me hope Ronni. Even tho all my greenery is under 12 inches of snow at the moment, with sleet falling from the sky as I type. Blah!

    it has been a weird winter everywhere.. today it's 71 at 10:37 am should be in the low 30's have been in shorts tenny shoes no shirt pulling weeds out of the raised beds....

    now for you folks under feet of snow just remember....

    Yes spring is getting closer Ronni. I was out this weekend putting bark on the paths and moving a few perennials. I still want to know why the weeds don't die back in winter when so much else does? Feels good to be outside though

    Given where you live, it just doesn't get cold enough to kill those weeds. Heck, I wish I was out there where I live moving plants around this time of year. I do have winter weeds tho, which die off when the weather warms. Well, not really die off, just sorta a summer hibernation is what it really is.
