I wanted to add some taller flowers to the garden so I decided on Shasta Daisy and Penstemon 'Dark Towers'. I like them a lot, especially the contrast of leaf color, but I definitely need to give them more room. june 24, 201 005 (Small).JPG

Adding taller plants gives a whole new perspective to a garden bed and the colour contrast looks good too. Well done.

This is the first year either has bloomed. To be honest the penstemon flowers are not very impressive but this is also the first year they have bloomed so maybe they will be better next year. The Shasta Daisy is really blooming.
