As many states had record heat and drought, PA was having record rainfall this year. Over 20 inches of rain last month.

I have always grown Sweet Williams. They remind me of my two grandmothers and a great aunt. But they were extra memorable this year. These were mixed but I photographed them individually.

Sweet Williams are a biennial. If anyone would like seeds, I gathered about a million seeds. They are mixed.

Those are some beautiful colors. I particularly like that last one. The color reminds me of a beet.

I grow Sweet Williams here in Scotland. I've always liked to see them in the garden. They have a lovely scent and such a wide variety of colours. Many thanks for sharing yours with us. :stew1:

I grow Sweet William too. I don't have that dark red one at the end - I really like it!

They are beautiful. My grandfather's name was William and they always make me think of him, and yes, he was sweet. :-D
