I like Baker Creek too. So far I haven't received any catalogs.

I received Seeds 'n' Such catalog about a month ago. I've perused it, it has most of what I need, but I do like to comparison shop so I'm waiting to January to place any orders. Shops around here, even the feed store, don't seem to stock vegetable seeds and few flower seeds.

I always enjoy the eye candy in the Baker Creek catalog. Beautiful! Also, they were the source of several varieties that I now save seeds, especially squashes - Galeux d'Eysine Pumpkin, Pink Banana Squash, Fordhook Zucchini, Costata Romanesco, Illinois Squash. If I remember correctly, they don't charge shipping and handling? Might be wrong about that.

I also like Victory Seeds, especially for open pollinated dwarf tomatoes, Fedco for northern latitude friendly varieties, Seeds n Such for mainstream kitchen varieties.

I'm grateful to find some varieties I wanted in Seeds n Such and already ordered them - bush beans, bush peas, Early Girl Bush and Early Boy Bush tomatoes, and Early Sunglow sweetcorn.

I ordered early this year after having trouble finding some varieties last year. Also some places had too high shipping fees and higher prices than I was willing to pay.

    Very anxious to get started!

Today I got my second Seeds 'n' Such catalog--same as the first one that came a month or so ago. I also got Johnny's Seeds catalog. Lordy, they are expensive! I chucked that one in the trash, but kept the SnS to give to a gardening friend. I looked at Baker's online, but they had so many varieties that were "sold out" that I decided to skip that vendor, also.
We gardeners may have to be more diligent in our searches this year.

I spoke (wrote) too soon! Today the mailbox had Burpees, Johnny's, Territorial, and Select Seeds.

I finally burnt out on Burpees. Several of their hyped "best ever" varieties tasted like cardboard in my garden, especially "Bodaceous" tomato. Plus I don't like websites that wont let me sign on without me consenting to cookies. My last order from Terrotorial was one packet of a tomato seed variety that I really wanted, until I saw the price plus shipping was something like $7. For 15 seeds. No go for me. I like Johnny's but don't need anything. No idea who "Select Seeds" is.

Did look at Burpee's catalog. Such beautiful vegetables and fruits! Then pitched it LOL :like:

Mail yesterday brought Baker Creek, Seeds n Such, Parks.

That Baker Creek catalog really is beautiful!

Fedco already came. Their's is more like "me" - pen on ink catalog, quirky descriptions, not flashy.

All are late for me - already have the seeds for 2022, and already ordered the two fruit trees I decided to add.

The Baker Creek strategy of lush catalog, beautiful and rare heirloom seeds, worked in me again. I ordered six items. I didn't intend to order any.
