Had a Rose Breasted Grosbeak stop by ! They are not common in this area of Texas ! I guess we are on the migration path ! Ordinarily they stay farther north ! Sure was a pretty bird !

Mart, please get a binocular with a built-in camera. So we too can also see and enjoy what you are. :D

Another bird we don't get here. I'd love to see it too.

You really do seem to be on a flightpath. I am more than jealous.

Mart, are there little signs along the flight path that say, "X miles to Mart's house"? It seems you are a magnet for great birds. Perhaps our feathered friends aren't as "bird brained" as advertised! They know a good thing when they see it.
I do envy you, and hope they drift over our way.

I had never seen one and had to look it up ! We may have others but I can`t just sit at the window and look ! Hubby saw this one and pointed it out to me ! We still have the Buntings and at last count there were 4 ! Females don`t look much different from sparrows so I assume there are 4 pairs !

Another surprise ! Hubby always sits and watches the birds in the morning ! So he sees everything before I do ! This morning while I was getting dressed he saw what he called a weird bird ! He described it to me and this is what he saw ! Perhaps with small variation in color but same bird ! I haven`t seen it yet !
I am going to try and get pics if I can sneak up on them ! Taking pics through the window glass doesn`t work ! And I have only taken pics once since I have had this phone ! Gotta figure it out !

Good gracious me what a variety you've got flying around! I'll have to bring some make-up outside and ask my sparrows to make an effort.

Just give them some lipstick and that stuff they color hair with !
I can`t figure out why all of a sudden we have a crew of them ! We usually have one or two a year but this time they have moved in !

I recall in the rest room. A friend, a basic chap, a labourer. Enjoying a break and a cuppa. He said. They're back!.

    Whose back?
    The Martins.

Oh' have they been on holiday?

No, no you daft *ugger. The martins. The birds.

    Oh, says I.

YES. And they didn't need an A-Z map.

    Oh!

Yes mike. They have flown six thousand miles from North Africa, back to where they were born.

So I am not going to give the answers. How etc do they do it.????????
