I've owned and trained many dog breeds, but I truly believe the Great Dane is the best, overall! And by the way, I don't sell or breed Great Danes. Both my boys are "fixed."

Hi Habee - nice to meet you. :-D Your boys are fantastic. I have a real 'soft spot' for Great Danes as we used to have one ourselves. Gentle giants is how I'd describe them.

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for bringing your Danes with you!
Those are gorgeous dogs. I've never had a Great Dane, but I've known a few, and all were sweethearts.
We run to "mixed-breed" dogs from the pound. Our last one was a collie/St. Bernard mix. Want to talk fur!

Thanks, guys! I love "pound puppies," too and have adopted several. I feel like we rescued the Harlequin Dane. Even though we paid for him, he was in a bad situation.

I like Great Danes too. I find them majestic and gentle. I've always wanted one, but sadly I have neither the space nor the time for a dog. :( Unfortunately they've been uncritically bred so I'm wary of them now. We'll see what the future brings.

    great danes are awesome

I have two danes myself...they are nearly all white with blue eyes. Jesse is a merle and Sara is a fawn. We got them due to their color and everyone was afraid of them being deaf...they arent just rotten.

Beautiful pups habee. I've heard Danes are a lap dog, is this true? The breed has always interested me... sweet dogs.
