I know some people don't like spiders but these are kind of pretty. They are about 4mm in size so they aren't too big and they aren't poisonous. Dooley

You may keep those spiders and name them as pets. I have a spider phobia, rats too.

Those are marvellous photos for something that is 4mm. Makes it look a LOT bigger. The orange is quite striking.

How far/high can they jump Dooley?

Boy am I glad they're only 4mm in size - any bigger and I'd be having nightmares about them. I do like spiders but only at a distance as I'm a bit of a coward where multi-legged creatures are concerned.

Nope, I'm not a spider fan either -- not much of a bug fan period.

A 1/4 inch Apache Jumping Spider can jump in the neighborhood of two feet.

Two feet is WAY too close for comfort. I encountered a jumping spider in Malta also, it didn't half freak me out. One second it was on one side of the room and in a blink it was crawling on your foot.
