Yesterday, at the library, an older couple came into the library with a box of plants. Each plant was in a four inch pot and each pot was in a basket with bows tied on the handle. They gave a plant to each of the library workers that was there working. I received a tuberous begonia. There are two in the pot. The leaves are so shiny. One side is red and the other green with reddish edges. The book says they grow to 1 and 1/2 feet so I think I will need to repot it. But, for now it looks really nice on the end table. Dooley
Now that's what Christmas is all about!!! It brightens your day when someone does something nice like that doesn't it? :-D
What a nice thing to do, it warms my heart to hear these stories. Richard hit the nail on the head in his post. Any chance of a pic Dooley?
What a great gift. There are lots of nice people in this world.I have met quiet a few .I know your plant is beautiful.
That is so sweet! What kind & thoughtful people! I had an angel leaf begonia one time that LOVED my kitchen window. Unfortunately it didn't survive the move to the new house. I think we went from a south facing window to an east facing window, he didn't like it :'( Deanna :-D
