i havent been on here for like a year, but by any chance do any of you know some sort of bird of prey that has a blue/grey but much closer to blue. I cant take a pic cause i can barly get to see half of its wing my self any help would be realy helpful :!:
I have a similar sounding Hawk stalking the birds at my feeders. I have been unable to get a good photo of it but I believe it to be a Northern Harrier or mature Coopers Hawk. Here's a link to help you ID your bird: www.peregrine-foundation.ca/identification.html
I found this photo of a mature Coopers Hawk. Mine looks almost identical except for "bluer" color on the back and a whiter chest. Magnificent looking bird, I just wish he would find his lunch somewhere other than my feeders. http://www.flickr.com/photos/hoganphoto/2979129631/
thats the bad thing you see i don't know wat it looks like from the back of the bird plus it looks much bigger but al birds of prey do if they have their wings open :!:  -thats wats really annoying me
