Last night we had a "blood moon" and a lunar eclipse. Husband got these two photos before the clouds moved in and obscured everything in the heavens.

At least the cats enjoyed having him with his tripod and camera out in the middle of the night. Yes! We knew we could make our humans nocturnal!

Thank goodness the clouds stayed away until your other half got his shots. The cats obviously think they're getting him trained!.

Great foto’s. Very sharp and impressive.
I am glad that someone got up to check the moon out. My Bride got up but saw nothing special. No redness at all.
Did you guys have tea and bikkies whilst snapping pictures?

Very nice @marlingardener . I hope the blood moon did not have evil intent.

Around here, clouds and rains obscure most celestial omens.
