These were growing in the sidewalk. I found tons of them in the road and even pulled one. What is this plant called? If I plant the one I pulled, will it grow?

Tina, This particular campanula self sows readily, but it is so pretty, people rarely consider it invasive. I used to have it popping up every where in my garden....until the day that a baby bunny appeared. I have been beset by baby bunnies every year since & they gobble up the campanulas!

    Enjoy yours!

    Thanks for the quick id.
The plant I pulled from the side walk has small roots. If I plant it, will it survive? Right now I have put the roots in a bowl of water.

Tina, I would trim it back by at least half to help it compensate for the root loss. I would then protect it from the sun until it seems to take hold, maybe a week or so. Good luck with it!
