Does anyone in the NE Texas area make them to sell ?? Online they are outrageously priced ! We have bluebirds year round and the one I have is falling apart !
Maybe you could make one yourselves if you take your present one apart and buy the materials from the hardware. We have done this with other things. You two might have fun if you don't argue too much. hahaha. Bluebirds are some of the prettiest birds alive.
well,, with no woodworking tools,, a husband that cant stand up too well and me with a double bone graft,, i think that is not an option ! better just buy one !
I did a quick search, and Etsy offers a cedar bluebird box, and Walmart has a cedar one also, both under $20. An alternative is to contact a senior citizen center near you, where may be someone who does woodworking and could make you one.
