Bit on the nippy side this morning. It got down to 15 deg. F this morning. The wood fire definately felt good!
The weather pattern has Canadian arctic air dipping down into the Mid-West and while the single numbers are reserved for Minnesota, northern Wisconsin and the upper Michigan peninsula the edges get the temps in the teens. Some relief is in sight as 'The Almanac' still has you in the see-saw pattern till late January with February freezing your birdbath for a long period. Looks like long johns wail be the uniform of the day Captain. I hope you split a lot of firewood. Jerry
4 degreesC here today wth winds in excess of 100mph. Trees are down everywhere, damage to rooves and fences, our shopping centre is closed and motorists are being warned to stay at home. Apart from that we also have torrential rain just to keep us on our toes!! Oh the joys of our Scottish weather.
We're right alongside ya Capt! 16º here when I got online this morning, now 18º. Snowed yesterday morning, but its almost all gone. Cant wait for spring!
We had a low of 15 F last night, because the skies are so clear. It is sunny, but quite breezy today, making it feel colder. We have had very little snow so far this winter. I think we need some, it will get too dry. This week, the temps are forecasted to be in the 50s again. Very mild.
I got an email from my brother in central Florida and they are supposed to get down to 26 tonight. They have all of their fruit trees covered, hoping they won't freeze.
