Each year I buy one, sometimes two Brugmansia plants or cuttings. They look lovely on the patio with their huge flowers. Can anybody make any recommendations on which type/colour to buy this year. I've had Suavolens (pink, yellow) and Arborea (white) in the past. Perhaps a double flowered type this time. Also, I would like some tips on how to keep the bugs off these plants. Last year all the leaves were eaten before they had even flowered, despite spraying with the bug gun.
I did not know what Brugmansia were. I looked at the thread http://www.gardenstew.com/threads/growing-brugmansia.31005 I saw the picture of the white and pink Brugmansia. They are very artistic flowers.
