The fellow who gave me the mystery bush says it is a Butterly Bush, it might bloom this year I hope so. The flowers are white and small, he had a twig with blooms on it and the scent is so sweet that you just want to bury your hose in it forever. So hopefully it will bloom.

Why don't you post a photo of it, there are a couple of different plants with the common name of Butterfly Bush, with a photo we can try to give you the exact name.

Sorry, We were trying in the other thread but we couldn't figure it out there either. Wait until it blooms and post a photo.

By "Butterfly Bush", do you mean the Buddleja?
I have had a number of different ones, but none of them had a pronounced fragrance.
The blooms on this bush are small, but grow in a cone of many flowers. See this foto--

Was the chap that gave you this bush certain that it is a Butterfly Bush?

One man I plant flowers for had ordered a Butterfly Bush from a mail order company. I planted it and it grew successfully.
