Oh gosh, I just spent 30 minutes making this post and suddenly it was gone! I'm crossing my fingers and trying again! Should be easier this time because my photos loaded to my garden folder. Here we go ... These are random photos of various things at Canada Blooms and the Home Show. I thought this pallet garden was interesting ( photo / image / picture from Netty's Garden ) A couple of living walls ( photo / image / picture from Netty's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from Netty's Garden ) I thought these were very pretty Primula's ( photo / image / picture from Netty's Garden ) These Orchids were pretty too, but Orchids hate me so I didn't want to get too close! ( photo / image / picture from Netty's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from Netty's Garden ) This won 1st prize and a special prize, but I can't rememeber for what. Sure is pretty! Other plants for sale, and seeds, garden tools etc ( photo / image / picture from Netty's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from Netty's Garden ) I even think I saw Elvis! ( photo / image / picture from Netty's Garden ) It was getting so crowded now, that I could hardly take photos anymore, without someone getting in the way! ( photo / image / picture from Netty's Garden ) I got hear my favorite Gardener speak about plants, soil and fertilizer ... Frank Ferragine! ( photo / image / picture from Netty's Garden )
Those "wooly walls", are quite something, aren't they. The orchids were gorgeous. It is nice to see some of the other things that were there. I can see now why you were so tired when it was all over.
I really like those living walls and must show them to my daughter. Somehow, I don't know why, but I have a strong feeling there won't be a hot tub waiting for you on Mother's day Netty. If only!! I'm off to have a look at batch six now. :-D
In Asia you can see those type of living wall put up outside construction sites to distract you from the mess within. They work!
Sjoerd, I sure slept well that night! Eileen, I think it would be nothing short of a miracle if I got that hot tub! Frank, I think anyone would rather look at a living wall rather than construction! Do they have people that come and tend to them?
