I took my camera along with today and I was glad that I did. It was hilarious to see a muskrat chasing the geese around the pound. I am not sure what would of happened if he would of caught one...or if he was just trying to get them out of his pound.

Here is the muskrat , he never did come out of the water when we were there...he just kept swimming after the geese..

Poor muskrat! :D Guess he didn't like the invasion of big, lovely birds. Nice photos, thank you for sharing.

Brilliant shots of the muskrat Sherry. I was out bird watching yesterday and noticed that most of our geese have already left. I did see a few Bewick and Mute swans though and some Porchard. :stew1:

We have noticed a lot of commotion in the air with large numbers of birds all flying around and making noise..I think the Canada Geese are getting ready to leave. It is suppose to be in the 70's this week and on Friday in the 40's...very unusual warm weather we have been getting. Is winter on its way? I guess we will find out..

This was a relly good series of goose and muskrat. There are a couple of really good ones of the geese.
Your nature fotos are super, as always.
