The official bird of Canada's English name has been changed. The American Ornithological Society has voted to Restore Canada Jay as the English name of Perisoreus canadensis. Gone is Gray Jay and will be known as Canada Jay.

It's good to know that the American Ornithological Society have decided to restore the name of the Jay. This is another bird that I've never seen before but I'll remember it after seeing your photograph.
