Cardinals in the yard today!

    Well, it's some of the cardinals in the yard. There must be a dozen or more males and then the females. They fly and chase each other until I come out the door and then they leave. I took the camera and went and sat out there until they decided I was okay.

    I've had some "dining" here today too. They sure are a bright spot in anyone's day.

    We don't get any birds as brightly coloured as your Cardinals Dooley. They would certainly cheer up a dull day with their red plumage.

    I can look out just about any time during the day and see cardinals, sparrows, doves, blue jays, and thrashers. But, I can only get pictures when it is warm enough for me to take my camera and sit quietly and wait for them to decide that I'm no threat to them. They will still fly if I move to quickly.
