Yesterday my dad brought home a small put together greenhouse from Lowes for his carnivorus plants that we plan to grow over the winter. Today the plants arrived and are situated in the greenhouse.

You have a nice little collection there FM. You must let us know how they do over the winter. It certainly looks as though you have a good set up for them. :stew2:

Thank you. They came from a greenhouse in Florida so they may have to get used to a climatic difference. When we placed these in the greenhouse some flies had already took up residence in the greenhouse so the plants have their food source. Tomarrow we have a huge chance of rain. The extra humidity should help.

FountainMan, Just keep a little saucer under them with a little water in them to keep their feet and you should be fine.

There is a water tray under them. You might need to click on the photos to maximise it. But the water trey is visible in some of the photos.

FountainMan, Yes I do see that but don't forget to keep water in it all the time. Never let it become dry. That's all I was trying to say to you.:)

When I first started growing them I didn't always keep water in the saucer. They soon started falling short and began to die. Now I keep them in water all the time and they live for years.

Yes they do. Flies also take up residence in the greenhouse so the plants have plenty of food.
