When I make dog food, I skim the fat from the chicken thighs that are slow cooked overnight. I also remove as much skin as I can. All of that is for Rufus not to consume too much fat. In another cartoon, a nurturing hen is feeding chicken soup to another chicken, remarking "Don't worry, it's not anybody we know".
