Some of you know that our winter so far has been rather mild. Sometimes it's a good thing. Look what I've got blooming:

So far I've spent Christmas Eve with these two sweeties:

This is what our landscape looks like. The photo was taken an hour ago:

I'm going to put my gladrags on and start the celebration now. See you when I see you, enjoy your day.

Lovely photos Droopy! It looks just about the same here, and yesterday I noticed some yarrow in bloom. Your ponies look so nice and clean ... did they get a special Christmas bath?
At least there is some snow on the mountains ... that looks very pretty.

    Such lovely photos.

Sometimes I get tired of living in an urban location. The vistas aren't anywhere near as appealing as what you're living with.

I've got daffodils and crocus poking up through the earth already. I noticed that one of my Hellebore is beginning to flower too. It may not be a white Christmas this year but the plants seem to be quite happy without it.

Beautiful, Droopy! I'm a little green with envy :D as my world is white. No color for at least 3 or 4 months. Keep the pictures coming so I can enjoy everyone's blooms until mine wake up.

Thanks for liking my photos everybody. :)

No Christmas bath for the ponies, it's way too cold for that. As far as I'm concerned the snow can stay up there in the mountains. I wouldn't mind a little bit to brighten things up though, as long as I don't have to shovel a lot.

Some people prefer the urban vistas. A friend of mine complains that Norway is full of nothing, and the towns and cities way too small for his liking. So each to his own I guess.

We've got that too, eileen, and I worry since our coldest month is usually February. We'll see how it goes.

Mine should be too, but isn't yet. We might get some white during the week-end, but as far as I can tell it's going to rain away next week. That Hellebore is going to be squashed and ruined if we get cold temps and snow.

    Those are delightful foto's Droopy.
    What about that Helleborus! Gadzooks!
    The ponies look splendid.
The paddock looks inviting to me and I'm not even a horse.;)....Dont say it.
Hope you guys had a great time today and that you don't now have to go out and buy a new (larger) frock. --cackle.

There's still some halibut left, but not because we weren't trying our best to finish it off. ;) I've got a new, roomy pair of pajamas, so I'll be fine. I think.

We've actually got a little dusting of snow on the ground. We get to keep it until Tuesday they say.

Nice pic's Droopy. It was 78* here yesterday. People are still wearing shorts and flip flops. Trees are budding.
