Clusters of small dark pink flowers, elongated leaves

I took this pic from a friends garden. Can you help identify this plant?

My guess was going to be Verbena Bonariensis, but the bloom looks a little different on yours...

 

can we see the foliage, please?

 

I don't have the pics f the leaves. I will try to get the pics today.

 

It looks very much like Red Valerian/Centranthus ruber to me. They are great for attracting bees and butterflies.

 

My first thought was a Glorybower... but if that's it's leaves in the background... then that's not it.

 

I am just guessing, but I was reminded of catchfly.

I don't know what it is but the leaves are pretty as well as the flower.

Yep, I agree. It seems like Red Valerian to me too.
