Are you wanting to can them as beans or pickle them? Straight canning is just beans, water, salt and then a proper pressure cooker following the instructions for canning however if you're wanting to pickle them there are lots of recipes online for MUSTARD pickle beans
I keep an assortment of dried beans in jars in the pantry to be cooked in small batches as needed. I tried preserving cooked ones in past but cooking and creating different tastes turned out to be way more trouble than just cooking a small amount when we want them.
Thanks for the replies. We don’t have a pressure cooker for canning. So we will freeze as usual and try to make some spicy dill pickle beans. I once tried to preserve beans in bottles, but they rotted, hence the question.
I wish you lived close to me... I would let you borrow one of mine. I seem to collect them when I find a used one in excellent condition. do you not have pressure canners available in your country? I think I heard one time they are not a european piece of equipment.
"Dilly Beans" are awesome! I tried them maybe ten years ago and was astounded at their delicious flavor and texture.
