I want to make one in my garden area about 30 X 35. It has been a fenced in garden 15 years now. There have been no fertilizers or pesticides used in it at all. It will have all the plants needed for each butterfly I want to put in it, a puddling area, underground water system for the plants, a place for Chrysalis to be protected. I want native butterflies to Pa. where I live. I have not found much info for the average person to learn about creating one of these screened in places for them to live and continue their life cycle.

We have it all planned except the screen stuff. I have found anti insect netting and knitted exhibit netting but they are not what I have seen used for a butterfly house. I don't want to make a mistake for it is going to cost me $600. to $1000. I want it to be correct.

Does anyone know what they use for screens????
