And here starts the beginning of a billion questions already. I planted a row of Crocus in late October thinking they would not come up till Spring but they are already coming up. Did I plant them at the wrong time or will they come back in the Spring?

If they bloom now, no they won't bloom in the spring. They just may "vegetate" all winter long at the stage they are at now. I saw someones bulbs peeking through the ground up here last week, too, but I know they wont bloom before spring here.

When we lived in upstate NY (cold, cold, cold) our spring bulbs would often send up green shoots, which would get frost bitten and turn brown. Then in the spring they would send up more shoots and bloom well. I think your crocus will give you a springtime show.
Just be sure to fertilize them well after blooming, to build strength in the bulb for the next year.

Red, are you experiencing an unseasonably warm Fall like we are here?
The "wild" daffodils have poked their heads up already. I usually don't see them until January. I was wondering if they would bloom now or not?
I planted some Calla bulbs thinking they wouldn't be up until Spring, and guess what? They are blooming now. I wonder if/when we do get "winter" will they die back and then resprout and bloom in Spring?
We may just have to wait and see.

I had this problem last year as well it is too warm for the time of the year. You can even plant Crocus in November and if you’re lucky enough they come up around Christmas!

I'm not sure Toni. I tossed out the packaging of which I now know I should not have done (learning curve here). I will try and go back to the bulb company and see if I can find out. Thanks for your help !!!

After you plant the crocus bulbs, when is the earliest that the crocus could have flowers?
