I was out in the garden, weeding the garlic bed and humming Christmas carols. Two of the cats were "helping" by rubbing around my feet and laying between the rows. Soon I'll be adding compost to one of the covered beds, getting it ready to plant with broccoli and lettuces.
Anyone else doing a little December gardening?

Well Jane, I shall do when the ground is less moist. Just a bit here and there, as my beds are covered for the winter. However, the flower section has some weeds in-between the forget-me- not’s.

well,, not much weeding but decided I am going to move the pots to a warmer area !
Behind the garage is siided with tin roofing and is a lot warmer than in the open ! Maybe a tomorrow project ! That metal sure generates a lot of heat even when its 30 degrees here !

I wish! I still have carrots in a raised bed that I haven't had time to pull yet.

Our snow has just melted....in time for the next storm on Thursday.

But I did harvest some parsley for tonight's dinner. The parsley didn't need weeding.

Marlin G, I weeded and added mulch to the garlic beds in late Autumn. The parsley has been picked right down to "I'm not growing in this cold, thank you!". Same with kale.
Getting "Around to it" brings back a memory of long ago Reader's Digest. The little magazine actually had a circle with TUIT on the edge. Something like, Now you got a round tuit . Quite amusing at the time.

I suspect that round TUIT was the grandparent of the easy button.
