    Happy anniversary! I wasn't gardening 51 years ago.I was living in town & had a 6 mo old child.
    I think I did have lots of house plants then.

    51 years ago I was 15...oh, look a reverse the numbers thingy.
    and about to enter my Sophomore year in high school. But the gardening bug was nibbling at me, I had planted a few Daffodil bulbs under my bedroom window the year before and they were so pretty that spring.

    We did have a good day though we didn't do anything special. It was quiet. I wanted some rain and it was all around us but we only got thunder. I wonder who gets all the rain.
    I hope we don't get rain like Florida is getting though. Enough is enough.

    We will now start working on year number 52. Pray that it is another good one.
