Double crested Comorant...

    I thought we were watching a loon and when I looked up loons, it didn't look a thing like this one. Then I remembered someone here mentioning the comorant so I looked it up...I love how they go underwater and go for quite a ways before they come up. We make a game of it to see if we can guess where he will pop up out of the water... October 22, 2018 032 copy (2).jpg

    Your patience has been rewarded as you managed to get a really good shot of the cormorant. It actually looks as though its posing for you. :)

    That was ME!
    We watched thousands of Cormorants gathering before they finally all flew south. Interesting birds to watch, but they sure can do damage!
