    The lake is full of geese and ducks...I never realized there were so many different ones.....

    Common Merganser....I love his spiked feathers on top of his head...

    Hooded Merganser...sorry this one is darker it was getting late...

    The brown ducks are the females.

    I wish the others would come closer...we still have some ice close to shore. We have like a little inlet where the ducks can come when the boats are on the water and they feel safe here. There is wood from a fallen tree that fell before we bought the property and it is in the water so they like to sit on that. We have Mallards here too and I am hoping the large white ducks come close to the shore.
