Hi everyone. I've had this flower growing in my beds for years after a friend gave me a clump. She didn't know what they were and everyone asks me so I figured I'd better find out. Someone said evening primrose but I'm just not sure. Sorry the one photo is sideways, don't know how to turn it!

Your evening primrose is beautiful. I love that yellow, it's even bright at night. :D

This is the one Toni mentions, grows like a weed in my rock garden, but I like it...love the pink colours.

Oh, chocolate, you're so lucky to be able to grow that one. We've tried several types of Oenothera over the years, and the only one who really likes it here has tiny, tiny yellow blooms. :( I guess the rest want warmer winters and better summers.

I have the pink one, too, but it is so dry here it is wilted every day! poor thing.

I have the yellow one and it moves about my garden on its own. I just pull it out where I don't want it. I think of it as one of the "old fashioned fowers", tried but true.
