Hello Gardeners I purchased two blueberry bush cuttings and planted them in containers (we are still moving a lot, so containers is about our only forever option at the moment). This is what happened: Same watering pattern. Same exposure to sunlight. Same soil... Anyone seen anything like this happen with baby blueberry bushes? Is the "evil" twin done?
I've never grown Blueberries but I had the same happen with blackcurrants. They were treated just the same as each other in every way but one is half the size of the other and is not faring too well. I'm going to leave them as they are and simply hope that the other one picks up. The one in your photograph that isn't doing to great is still alive so if you take off the brown tips it may yet recover. Good luck!!
Did you buy these ? I would prune about an inch below the brown tips and see what happens. Possibly it didn`t have as good a root system as the other one.
