The farm market did well today. There was another lady there. Both ladies call themselves organic gardeners though both could also be called farmers because they have goats, chickens, pigs, bees, etc. They also have very large gardens. They both did well and will come back next week. I had not gotten my stuff hung up before I sold two aprons. Today, it was all ladies aprons. Must be because Mother's Day is tomorrow. I sewed tote bags this week and didn't sell tote bags at all. But, I need to replenish the ladies aprons this week and work on tote bags. I have a couple special orders that I really need to work on too. Next week I promise to remember to put my camera in my work bag. I meant to do it today but my mind was not in working order that early in the morning. dr loaded everything yesterday so he had all his stuff. He gave away a lot of books today. He's already been out sorting books to take next week. dooley
Your aprons are really doing well Dooley. There are going to be quite a few happy mums tomorrow when they receive their gifts. I'm sure you'll sell plenty of tote bags next time. They'd be ideal for trips to the beach or for taking on picnics during the summer months.
Glad to hear that you had another good day at the market... and that other vendors are showing up too.
Great news,Dooley. Good luck with the next one. Those aprons of yours really are doing well aren't they?
Glad you did well. I was thinking one time of growing more bird house gourds and selling them. Have made many as gifts.
One of the ladies there yesterday had some. She was getting two dollars each for small ones and more for the bigger ones. They were just plain, not birdhouses or anything yet. Would have needed sanded and decorated, a hole and a peg, etc. I tried growing them one time. They got moldy instead of drying? dooley
