For the first time in while, the ground was dry enough to work with (lots of clay) and the sun was shining with temperatures in the 70's (21+C) and I was able to plant some shrubs and do some badly needed weeding. While I was doing this Mike was planting more vegetable seeds in the garden, but only on one side, as the other side was still too wet to mess with. Tomorrow I'll start getting my flower seedlings used to the sun so I can plant them out and finish planting the last few flowerpots. Hopefully the rain will hold off long enough.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't rain until you've done everything you want to in the garden.

Sounds like a productive day. I was finally able to do some weeding too, until the torrential rains sent me indoors. We needed some rain badly, and my house needed cleaning so I was happy for the rain.

I was raking a customer's front yard when the rain began. Fortunately I finished the raking and was able to plant grass seed.
