Finches came by today

    Here are the brightest lil birds in zone 5. I put the feeder back a few days ago. They are loving it .
    Finches require thistle in the feeder. Beats me why , cause they do eat my sun flowers also.

    A lovely pair of American Golfinches Barb. Ours enjoy thistle seeds too as well as sunflower hearts. :stew1:

    Beautiful, B--Gosh, those birds look very lovely. I saw some goldfinches that someone else posted a few days ago, and they seemed to have lost their summer colours already. I guess that it is different in each area of the country.

    Anyways, these are really pretty to see.
