I call this Fuji Grape Pie because I use Fuji apples. Any kind of pie apple can be used. I use the Thompson Grapes from my vines but store bought ones work as well.

    Fuji Grape Pie

Pastry for a two crust pie
    2 cups seedless green grapes
    3 cups sliced peeled apples
    1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons thickening agent(cornstarch, flour, quick cooking tapioca)
    1/4 teaspoon ground cardamon
    1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    2 tablespoon butter

Combine grapes, apples, sugar, thickening agent, spices and salt. Pour into pastry lined 9 inch pie pan. Dot with butter.
Adjust top crust, flute edges and cut vents in top.
    Sprinkle top with sugar
Bake in hot over (425 deg) 50 to 60 min.

I don't like my crust so brown so cover it when it starts getting too brown.

This pie can be made for diabetics by substituting 24 packets of sugar substitute such as Equal and adding 1/2 cup of apple juice.
