I have a goldfish that is quite fat. At first I thought she was full of eggs, but now I'm not quite sure. One or two of her scales are starting to stick out, she has a large lump behind her right gill, and it looks like another one developing on the other side. She also has developed a white spot in the middle of the top of her head. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be, and how to treat it?
I'd get your goldfish to a vet quickly as there are various things that could be wrong with it. The vet will be able to supply you with an addictive for the water which should help clear the problem up if it hasn't developed too far. Good luck.
