My garden junk ( photo / image / picture from muddypaws's Garden )

One of my little garden junk areas has an old wagon wheel from a flea market, large old-time sewer pipes I dug into the ground (I got off Craig's List) and I made some small hypertufa pots and filled them with thyme.

Love flea markets and garage sales!

That is great not-junk! Looks good in that corner. That wagonwheel was a great find, lucky you.

Those wagon wheels cost a fortune here in the UK - what a wonderful find!! That corner looks as though it's meant to be just the way you've made it. A really great job and something to be proud of Muddy. :smt041 :smt041

Muddypaws, Thank you so much for posting this...next year I want to grow quite a bit in containers because of bunnies, chipmunks, etc. A little higher off the ground will help a bit. I was wondering what to use...this is a great idea. I also agree-this is not-junk.

Muddy, you ought to go into landscape design! That's great use of what was junk until you got your hands on it.

Thanks for the kind words. When I drug DH to dig those pipes out of someone's back yard, he thought I was nuts! He says, What do you want those nasty old things for? (They looked pretty sad where they were) Now he says it looks great. So I said next time I want someone's junk, will you not complain about it? He said, no, I probably still will!

Great idea on reusing those sewer pipes... they look great all planted up. And the wagon wheel adds it's own charm to that area.

Technically they are discarded items, but that is way too pretty an arrangement to be called Junk. That looks fantastic.

Muddypaws, when Daniel Mazur says he loves it, you've received quite an accolade! Daniel makes beautiful ironwork trellises, etc. and is an artist.

I have been lurking around this site long enough to know that Daniel makes so ge-or-gous stuff! I do agree!
