Have a small section of my backyard that I'm planting for the birds mainly. Planning on picking up med. sized viburnums. Have read that I need a pollinator. Is there a general one that works with most viburnum to assure decent fruiting?

OK, Have read some more info on viburnums...slightly confused. Talking about seedlings and clones and where planted. Do I just plant different ones and hope they overlap flowering times to set fruit? Do eventually want berries on these things. Hopefully, it's not just hit or miss. The more I read the more I got confused. Can anyone out there help? TIA Jan

You need to have two Virburnum of the same Species but not the same variety to get berries, there needs to be a little genetic difference for the berries.
Yep, the flowering times of the two plants need to overlap.

You will need to do some reseaching for those qualities to know which variety to plant, but it will prove to be time well spent.
