Thank you Sjoerd, they both go out 4 times a day. We both go out together 3 times, hubby has barley and and i have berry, then i do the last walks by myself. I prefer to go out by myself, but that's how it is. In the past i would have loved to be a breeder, but there's so much I'd have to do. Talking to the vet yesterday about the health issues in the breed and he said that they've had 30 years to breed hip dysplasia out and they still haven't done it. Sometimes the hip scores with a x ray can be unpredictable.
I don't know if you've seen this but we had 5 at one point. I used to be able to take 2 out together by myself ,but not the 2 that we have now, we're a bit older now.

They all have different expressions, Loggie.
Yes, I can imagine that there would be a lot to learn if you wanted to be a breeder and do it right. There are enough people doing things improperly and making money that way, I can easily understand that you would not want to be one of those types.
That last foto makes the dogs look so nice. Great pose.

Thanks Sjoerd, they're in our back garden and i got them to pose like that, they like their picture taken.

Yes if i did the breeding it would have to be properly done.
The thing is that the girl and boy dogs would have to be good in the dog shows and i just haven't got the time.

That pic the ones at the back on the left was moss, he had a tumour in his bottom jaw at the front and had to have that part removed, but he went on till he was 14.

Awww! They're so cute! I'll just sit down with Barley and wait for my apple, then go have a nap with Berry.

That's a busy house.I just had a bit of time to visit this thread L and give it the time it deserved.

What a lovely loving relationship you have with your Golden's. I love the happiness and extra softness in the senior's eyes. Your sofa looks like mine - all wrapped up like a present. hahaha A late friend also only ever had Golden's, and I was fortuneate enough to have to them here to care for them during his extended times of absence. I was always sad to see them go. There is something very special about them. Beautiful photos L.

Thank you M, they're a lovely breed and so good with children. Of course I'm not saying that any other breed isn't.
It was hubby that wanted one and I'm glad that we did, but i didn't think that we would have 5 all at once but I loved it.
