They look very healthy, good job. Be sure to have an arbor or sturdy trellis ready for them to grow on. And I have read that if you plant Red Clover around them it gives them more of the nutrients that they need.
Great job liono. Did you dry the seed before planting, put it in the 'fridge or simply plant it straight from the grape? Is it a green, red or black grape plant? I'm sure there are many of us here longing to see how it grows for you.
Thanks toni for the tip. I will see if there is any Red Clover seeds here. Is it the same as Alfalfa?. Eileen, I planted it direct to ground. No treatment used. They always grow in my back garden from seeds. The grape is black grape. Will keep you posted with the progress.
No, alfalfa is different. Look for Crimson Clover but both crimson clover and yuchi clover will fix nitrogen in the soil.
