I was surprised to see the Great Blue Heron walk over close to the seagulls that were making a lot of noise on the neighbors dock....Just like he was asking "What did I miss?"
You really get to see just how large the heron is compared to the gulls in your photograph. You don't realise just how long their necks are either until you see them fully stretched out.
