The last time I reported on a good germination rate my seedlings dampened off. I hope I am not jinxing these new ones.
I had 12 Brazilian Fireworks seeds in a pack and did them according to the directions. So far 11 have germinated. I am amazed, talk about viable seed. Can't wait to see them in bloom.
Between dampening off, the seedling rack being blown over and Basil's attack on the remaining 7 seedlings, 3 of my Yellow Hibiscus have survived. That is out of 24 seedlings. I have 6 seeds left and will put them to soak to see if I can't get a few more.
I have 2 Snail Vine seedlings, with possibly one more germinating. I messed up on those also. I had 6 seeds, I lost one while clipping them, never to be found. I put the other 5 to soak. The next night I put 3 in peat pellets and the other 2 on wet paper towels in a baggie. The two in the baggie germinated, and are up and doing fine. I am waiting on the others, hope I didn't loose them.
Now I have to get busy and germinate the other 5,000 seeds I have. LOL

So glad you managed to save a few of the seeds that Basil attacked Sharon. :-D Sounds as though your greenfingers are working well. Best of luck with the other 5000!!!! :D

It sounds like they are doing well. They always seem such fragile and delicate things at the beginning, don't they?
