I use my grill to cook just about anything...I cook pizza on my pizza stone..that ROCKS...I turn half of the burners off and use it like an over and roast chicken, and other roasts...I love grilling veg, and chicken...but m favorite things to grill are good, thick STEAKS and BURGERS...Nothing like the taste of a good beef grilled... I also love to either use gas or charcoal. ...sometimes charcoal is the perfect taste on a burger or steak..
Anything! I love grilled veggies like zucchini and onions in big chunks. I love grilled chicken but adore grilled fish. Grilled sardines and mackeral are my fave, oily fish are the best on a grill. Also, grilled apple to have with ice cream is delicious.
Fruit, veggies and meat i love the grill for anything eatable but i guess if i had to pick just one it would be eggplant yummmmmmmmy lil EVOO and some cheese. (HONEY LITE THE GRILL...LOL)
We grill A LOT! I like everything I haven't experimented with many vegetables but that eggplant sounds awesome Deanna :-D
I love grilling, but sliced potatoes with onion are my favorite for the moment. We recently discovered brat burgers, and those are great on the grill.
Meat of any kind is great on the grill and we do onions, squash, potatoes and a special local recipe from upstate NY, where I hale from is "Speidis". Lamb chunks, marinated in wine and herbs, strung on grill sticks with fruit or veggies. Yuuuum! Gardengater
Fish and shrimp, anyway, shape or form on the grill. Also muscles and scallops are great smoked. Ofcourse veggies also.
Am I the only one who doesn't grill? We haven't owned a grill in almost 20 years. The male grilling gene skipped Randy (his dad used to do a lot of grilling) and I figure that if I am going to be hot while I cook I will do my cooking in the house where the AC is. But I do like burgers and hot dogs cooked over charcoal.
I forgot about the side burner on the grill. I always cook bacon outside, so the overwhelming smell and spatter doesn't cover the kitchen.
toni we dont grill really either we dont have one we have in desperation ( the rare glimpse of a northern brittish summer) grabbed a disposable bbq but had little success my mom has a bbq but it isnt used often as we just do not et reliable enough weather every time our family plan a bbq it storms or with living right on the coast is just too windy!!!
In previous post, I forgot about corn! Gee I am getting hungry reading all the posts! Like PD said, someone light the grill (since I don't have a honey)
