Had a new bird this year !

    Yellow breasted blackbird ! Had never seen one before ! Just not common here !

    Wow! I hope that bird comes west and south to us--I'd love to see one.

    As their breeding area is further North and Northwest of you it is likely the you are on the spring migration route. You may see them again in the fall.

    Sorry,, me and this phone camera don` get along well ! Cant see well enough from kitchen window and if I walk outside they are long gone !

    MG I will give it directions to your house if I see it today ! I sort of figured he was migrating back home,,northern birds don`t like Texas summer heat !

    I looked up Yellow breasted blackbird, I think it must be the Yellow headed blackbird. Great to have one around whichever it is.
