    Thanks all! I did have a great day! Low key but very nice: saw an exhibit at the Museum of Russian Icons & a great dinner with the family.
    I write this as I sit finishing my morning coffee & watching the birds come to the feeder. I have today off from work & I am just contemplating what to do with this gift of a day!

    Best wishes to you all for a healthy, hpoeful and enriching 2019.

    Hi all, my family always does things in its own time & place. This is true for birthday celebrations. This morning, our grown kids arrived & cooked a brunch for me & presented me with presents!

    One is a schoeffel (Dutch hoe). I will have to get Sjoerd's opinion of it. It has a pretty sharp blade on one side, not both.

    You can't go back and forth with this one Cayu; however, it is great for between rows and plants. My Bride came to look and liked the looks of it. We have a very similar one.
    Aren't you the lucky one though. Your kids are good eggs...and very thoughtful. If you ever make it over this way, we will see if we can't find you a double-sided one.
