Thanks. Hope everyone enjoys the ice cream and chocolate. I cannot, lactose intolerant and allergic to chocolate.
Very quiet day, Too wet and windy to do anything much.

    Happy Birthday to you !
How are things going there? Have you found a new home to move to yet?
....and--are there any more books in the offing?
Hope that you and your bride have a great celebration and recover from the "Season".

Thanks again. On the house front, we have sold ours and have an offer in on a bungalow in a village about 5 miles away. We are now in the 'limbo' of waiting for solicitors to do their thing. No mortgage needed either for the ones buying ours or the chap selling the one we want.
Another book is on its way to the editor. Also our youngest's mother in law is a good artist and she is supposed to be looking at some of the other stories with a view to illustrating them.
Not been doing much posting anywhere recently, too much stress.

It sounds like the wheels are turning, albeit slowly.
    Hang in there.

Happy belated birthday. I wish you well with the house sales. Waiting is tough.

Well the house sale has gone pear shaped. And to make matters worse our neighbours have put in an application to build an extension to their house which will have a serious impact on ours.
Bang goes a lot of money.

    Oh my word !
Can't you put in a protest with those extension plans of your neighbours?
I say that because over here it is possible...and the office that can grant approval takes into account the wishes of neighbours. Have you checked this out?

We will put in an objection to the extension, but we then have to declare a dispute with the neighbours to any potential buyers.
