Is there a rule of thumb concerning harvesting after either rain or watering?
I thought I'd read something about green beans, but what about lettuces and other greens?

After watering I wouldn't worry but after rain? let it dry if at all possible. if there is any disease on the plants it is much easier to spread it throughout the whole patch.

Well,, With green beans if you pick after a rain they will be more dirty than if picked before a rain !:)
If good healthy plants pick whenever you want !

Thank you. With all the rain we've had the lettuces are going crazy out there.
