So you are Palm Tree's son? Welcome to GardenStew.
Maybe you want to register a new account so as not to cause confusion? I suggest "Lil Palm Tree" as a username :)

    Thanks for the tip Frank

But I am not quite sure that I want to go that way since I am using her workstation, ISP, etc...
And I will be surfing on her behalf. In fact she is sitting right next to me as I am chatting to you.
She is like a little kid...OOOPs

    Will most certainly do.

She will still be posting - maybe not as regular as she would like to -(with my help of course)
The reason being that she lost fine motor control and at present cannot use her hands.
This kind of sucks for her since she is itching to work in her garden - just imagine a gardener not being able to feel the soil?
    :(
However, she is in good spirits most of the time and I am her hands when she needs hands. :)

I'm so sorry to hear that - please say hello and give her my best. I remember her posts too, and pictures of the beach.

Take care of Momma Palm ;) Who knows, you might get the gardening bug. I could have cared less when I was a little kid but now I love it. I think it's one of those thing you appreciate as you grow older, kind of like asparagus :D

Palm Tree! I've missed you so much. *big hug* So sorry about your hands. Whatever happened? Please make Little Palm Tree post when you both find time, since I've missed your photos and posts. I think I've seen Little Palm Tree on a photo from one of your trips.

I sit here with tears in my eyes while reading. BUT it is happy tears. :)

Thanks you all for the lovely welcome back. You are right Droopy - he should actually be called big palm - he is a big lad and he was on the photos.

Hi Daisybeans I still love the beach and go there often - cold or not.

I was mugged and my hands sustained serious damage as I was trying to fend off the muggers. Fortunately it was just hands (and obviously some possessions that they took.) that had to bear the brunt. And also more fortunate that it was still daytime and a patrol car happen to be in the area...

Lil' Palm - strange that you mention Asparagus stratsmom - Mom was just saying that she wants to add that vegetable to her website since it is one of her fav. veggies.
I like asparagus as well, especially when my dad made it. - The last part is not for mom's eyes
