    Hello All:)
I call myself an enthusiastic gardener, having started my GardenBytheSea in 1985. it is my favorite place to be, and the addition of my beautiful statue, Quan Yin, in her place of honor has transformed the energy to even more peaceful and magical.

i wanted to ask about bringing in some abundant basil plants from the garden for the winter. I am fortunate to have wonderful sun and rooms that are solarium-like.

so, happy gardening to all and blessings from the earth:)

    love Eleanor

Hi Eleanor, welcome to GardenStew from north Texas.
We would love to see photos of your garden, it sounds like a very healing and peaceful place with Quan Yin there and so close to the ocean.

Eleanor is lovely to have you here with us at GardenStew and a warm welcome from West Lothian in Scotland. :-D I agree with Toni - it would be great to see some photographs of your garden as it sounds like a little bit of heaven on earth.

    hello:)
what wonder-full greetings and thank you!

I am charmed by your warmth.

as soon as Dennis gets home, (ast gardener extrodinaire) I will upload photos taken yesterday and attempt to share my joy in the garden with all who are interested.

btw, i planted and harvested bok choy, use it in all of my salads as well as huge horseradish leaves and anything where there's another inch of space:)
